Hi, just dropping in to give a hint to people who are struggling to enable Modbus on the SolarEdge inverter (without LCD).
The instructions found here and in other places are not always correct, at least not for my SE5k. After connecting to WiFi Direct succesfully, I was never able to open the setup-app-website. Turns out it was on a different IP/subnet.
The instuctions state to navigate to http://172.16.0.1/ but in my case it was on http://172.24.0.1/ (24, not 16). You can check the correct subnet/IP by checking the IP that is assigned to your device once connected to the Wifi Direct of your inverter. If that is something in the 172.24.x.x ranger. Then navigate your webbrowser to 172.24.0.1
